Born under a strict Catholic household, Lilith was the black sheep and constantly put down in favor for her younger brother Ezekiel. She was a crybaby and made her mother look bad, which caused her mother to favor her more 'stable' child and put him on a pedestal. This environment caused her to develop BPD and OCD. She began to develop a strong attachment to her religion and developed delusions that God was speaking to her and began to obsessively read scripture and overthink her actions to remain holy.She was sent to be institutionalized as a young teen where she met her first boyfriend, who she ran away with after getting out and soon becoming pregnant at 14. This relationship was abusive on all aspects and leaned heavily on heavy drug addiction. During this relationship she had two childen: Asher and Mara. Struggling with addiction, she continued to meet up with her psychiatrist Dr. Williams, who helped her through talk sessions.At the age of 17, she left her boyfriend to pursue a relationship with her psychiatrist, who promptly dropped her as a patient once the relationship began blooming to avoid any problems with his medical license. She had their first child Isaiah when she was 17, then his sister Shiloh when she was 18.Now living under his roof and taking care of 5 kids- the 5th one born when she was 31 (via a nonconsensual encounter with her son Isaiah)- she suffers under the hands of a controlling husband who feeds her prescription medication that simply makes her cloudy-headed and confused. Her house is a nightmare of custody weeks with her ex-boyfriend and violence at the hands of her husband and angry son Isaiah- who was kicked out and sent to live in Lilith's previous house inherited to her via her grandparents upon their passing.Trivia:
Lilith has a sweet tooth! But Toby forbids her from making too many sweets to avoid any weight gain for her or their children. Her favorite sweet is an apple turnover.
Lilith loves Toby despite everything he's putting her through, justifying the abuse and not seeing an issue with how they've met and how their relationship progressed.
She does not have any contact with her family since being institutionalized but sometimes sees her brother, but they are obviously not on good terms.
Her sixth child is a product of an affair with one of Toby's patient's father, Glenn. She wants it, Glenn does not.
The scar across her neck is from Toby cutting a cross into her throat as a sign of ownership. She hides it behind turtlenecks or ascots.
All of her kids have names with biblical ties.
She passes due to complications after a car crash when she's 36- ultimately it was due to Toby's negligence.

Toby was raised in a loving household with both parents (Julie and Tristan) and two brothers; one younger (Brian) one older (Peyton).
On a random night in 1996, after Toby had graduated college, Toby had killed his parents and younger brother. His brother, Peyton, arriving at the house not long after and wrestling him onto the ground to get the weapon out of his hand. Toby, panicking from being caught in the act and the thought of going to jail, proceeded to stab himself dangerously in the middle of the scuffle. He did this to be seen as the only surviving victim in the family and quickly framed Peyton for his crimes- seeing as Peyton now had his hands (and fingerprints) all over the weapon.The case was long and difficult but Toby was determined to act and lie his way out of being a suspect no matter how much his brother pointed the finger back at him. He sent his brother to prison for life and quickly left his hometown and changed his name to start anew. No more Miller family, no more people asking him questions- just now living in the small town of Lake Haven Springs as a psychiatrist until he met his wife.Once he left his job as a psychiatrist after meeting his current wife Lilith, he decided to become a teacher at the local boarding school... while continuing an independent therapy practice at his house.Trivia:
Toby is a coward at heart.
He is not fond of Lilith's two children she had with her ex- but treats them better than his biological children- who he regularly mistreats and yells at.
He is attached to his current youngest, Mary, spoiling her emotionally and with plenty of gifts. This causes turmoil with Isaiah, who hates Mary for this reason.
Toby has a secret relationship with his coworker, Emil.
Also has had relations with a senior in his class, Annie, who broke things off with him, he is bitter about this.
Was Lenny's therapist for a short amount of time, they did not get along.
Rightfully blames himself for Lilith's passing but also excuses it by saying she seemed fine until her sudden death.
Attempts suicide in his 60s via gunshot, survives and lives with a large scar across his face.

The third child of Lilith's, but the first child to the William's family, Isaiah was showered in adoration as the 'miracle child' by his mother up until he was 3. Once his hair lightened and he visually became more like his father, his mother Lilith began slowly treating him less like her favorite... especially after Shiloh was born. Instead he got the bare minimum, more like something to be avoided until absolutely necessary. This caused him to start acting out for attention from both parents, but mostly his father was the one who dealt with his tantrums physically or with yelling. Being sent to his room was a regular punishment since both parents didn't want to deal with him.He was sent to sunday school by his religious mother, he endured sexual abuse at the hands of one of the priests. This would cause him to become more of a problem child: lashing out, screaming, and now becoming physically violent with his younger sibling Shiloh. These 'play fights' would start as normal wrangling before biting and scratching occurred. Soon he would start emulating the abuse he endured onto Shiloh, causing alarm in Lilith (noticing with the bruises and marks on Shiloh) - who didn't know how to handle it besides keeping Isaiah away from Shiloh.Reaching his teens, he became resentful towards everyone in his family, moreso his sibling Shiloh and his mother. His feelings for his mother were confusing, yearning for her love while also wanting to hurt her as much as possible- learning more harmful behavior from watching his parents fight. He doesn't know how to get her attention since she is frightened by him, avoiding him for her safety more than anything else.Now a senior at the boarding school, he has a group of friends who he obtained through strange circumstances- his middleschool crush, Hans, now the popular kid at school who scooped him into their friend group. He left his mother's home to live with Hans and their roommate Annie- who he learns was having sex with his dad. This caused an uncomfortable start to their friendship but now all three are on good terms.Trivia:
Isaiah suffers from panic attacks, he does not understand they are panic attacks and thinks he just has extra energy to burn so he copes by going on jogs.
He is covered in self-harm scars on his arms, legs, chest, hips, and even on his crotch.
Does not know how to do anything regarding housework or adulthood, he cannot cook and he cannot do laundry. He's learning though!

Second biological child in the Williams family, Shiloh was the favored one since she was 2. Her mother coddled her and always comforted her during any slight discomfort or sight of tears forming in her eyes. She did not realize the favoritism until later in her childhood but did nothing to stop it- as she also grew up disliking her brother Isaiah... for good reason, of course.Shiloh has been abused by her brother since they were kids, it started out with plain hairpulling and pinching, then to 'play fights' that would end with her crying, then to full on sexual abuse. Her mother figured it out from all the marks on her body and Shiloh telling their mother she didn't want to 'play church' anymore. This caused a larger rift between Shiloh and Isaiah, but when living under the same roof- it's hard to avoid the other unless you stay in your room all day.Early on in her teens, she came out to her mother about being transgender and was accepted with little question. Her mother did not know much about it but she was supportive regardless and had Toby set her up for therapy and hormone appointments. Born as █████, she changed her name to Shiloh and began socially transitioning in the beginning of highschool.Obviously this doesn't come without problems, her brother Isaiah was not too fond of this 'girl business' and hated the fact that Shiloh seemed to look more like their mom as time went on- causing more aggression on his end. Meanwhile, Shiloh also struggles with some trouble in school from some classmates. Shiloh does not seem to let it bother her much, she feels she has larger things to worry about.Trivia:
She is not as religious as her mother but still sports a golden cross necklace and golden cross earrings.
She wishes to open her own bakery when she has the funds, for now she just works at a coffee shop on the weekends.
Has conflicting feelings for Isaiah: both not wanting to interact but also wanting to mend things. Both are equally hard to do.
At her mother's funeral is the only time she's stood up to both her father and Isaiah- she refuses to see her father until he's in the hospital.
Isaiah shows up at her apartment unannounced at one point to hopefully connect through their grief. This also does not work.
